InterHost proposes to resellers the lodging of an own dedicated server and of exclusive use of the agent. A reseller would be able to lodge his clients Web sites and to give them the adequate service, without to investing in the acquisition of equipment or compromising expenses in bandwidth.

The dedicated equipment is installed with the necessary tools to facilitate a quick and efficient service for the reseller's clients data systems. Likewise a personalized control board is included (e.g. with reseller's logo) so that the final client can establish the Web site and any additional services (e.g. mail accounts) at his convenience.

In a dedicated environment, an InterHost's client - that is the reseller - enjoys of the administrative control of the server. Therefore, enjoys the prerogatives and the necessary flexibility to configure the same, and even to add those applications and functions that considers appropriate to add value to his offering, and to increase his turnover.

Once the service is subscribed, InterHost:

Monitors, operates, and carries out administration tasks delegated by the reseller.

Takes responsibility of the equipment's maintenance and of the resolution of incidences and/or damages.

Facilitates the reseller a KVM commutation (by keyboard, mouse and monitor) that permits him to access the server's console both locally at InterHost's CDC, and remotely form in his own installations.

Facilitates the reseller with a port of access (dial up, RDSI, ready point, or VPN) so that this executes maintenance tasks, publication or safe modifications.

Integrates clients' servers with the CDC network, so that the server counts on the necessary ports of network (five), for his connection to a redundant access network (two ports), a redundant network of data back-end and backup (two ports) and the administration network (one port).

The integration in InterHost's CDC, means that the dedicated server takes advantage of the shared infrastructure. Specifically: the access' network to the server is protected by two firewalls in high availability, and sided by two load equalizers. Two redundant vertical routers serve Internet's access. All indicated networks (VLANS) are mounted on respective high-end switchers in high availability. It is also arranged the access to services such as shared database, shared disk of high capacity and availability in network (NAS: Network Attached Storage), streaming server, etc.

All in all, the program permits the reseller, to combine cost efficiency in a shared hosting environment, with the security, isolation and control of a dedicated hosting, and with the possibility to incorporate services of added value immediately, in direct, via Web.
