This service consists of supplying storage in a system
of disks, offering a very high availability of the data.
Clients lodge their machines in the CDC (Central
of Data and Contents). Operating system, applications and all the
necessary software resides in the physical disks. All dynamic information
or service's data (Web pages, data base, data and control files,
etc.) are lodge physically in a shared disk to whose content only
can be accessed by the customer and the administrator. These shared
disks are mounted in RAID4, through a redundant system, which provide
security and high availability.
It is possible to implement a remote asynchrony mirror
- all the information maintained in that disk is duplicated in a
non-synchronic way on a similar system but in another InterHost
content dispatcher center. The client can access to these files
by NFS protocols and Microsoft Windows' network.
Services of shared disk at the network are lent with
arrays of disks of high availability, with RAID protection, configured
in clusters, connected via Gbit Ethernet to the data network and
accessible from UNIX (NFS) or MS Windows (CIFS) settings.
